As others mentioned, it's not fancy, small, but boy, does it save time! I love this, it's simple, disables what you want or what would take a while to do and viola! All done! This one is a keeper! I am having some issues with profiles though but I'm sure I'll figure it out. 19884

If you use or work on machines that contain the infamous windows operating system, this program will put at your fingertips the core annoyances of that operating system and the remedy to fix them with a few simple clicks without having to do all the digging yourself. when one tech has to set up many machines in just one day, this cuts the time down to nothing and it is a real timesaver while it helps to tame the intrusiveness of a rather rogue operating system. thumbs up. 16413

It's ok I guess. Haven't had any issues and very simple to turn things on and off. Try it out and see for yourself, it's tiny too in case you didn't notice 12085

The Application allows you to record the settings that you have before you start, via profiles. It has some existing profiles, and you can add as many of your own profiles as you like. The profile operation may be different depending on which profiles, you select and that is not completely clear in the help. As a result I would not use the provided profiles. The use of colors and checkmarks in the status field is very confusing. However once you hit apply the confusing colors are gone, and your settings can be verified. The explanations of what the fields do is very short and additional investigation should be done in some cases to make sure you don't cause yourself a problem. The help is brief, and more information is required for inexperienced users. I would only recommend this software for advanced users. 10066

Yes, all settings could be done manually using Windows Registry but this tool gathers all these settings in a GUI window making things easier, faster. As far as reverting back the modified settings goes, click on Profiles > System Defaults to change the settings modified by this tool back to their original configuration. Best part....it is a freebie! 9216

The writers of the negative comments must be on crack. In fact, while this software may have rated 3.5 stars two years ago it's constant improvement should be grounds for a new review and a rating of at least 4 stars.
Yes, a technical person can do everything this program does, (I use to) but why? It's like coding in Assembly just because it will produce code of the smallest size. It's much quicker and with less likelihood of you inadvertently messing something up in the Registry.
If you're looking for a safe, simple, way to disable certain Windows/IE/Microsoft Office settings, then give xp-Antispy a try. I think you'll like it.
Tip: Don't modify the settings, then exit, and restart the utility for more modifications without restarting your PC first. 8247

The program works, howver you can easily change these settings in the control panel. Users don't want to waste time with programs like this. 7613

Seemed to be a good deal, but the configuration that is saved will change on its own and is un-reliable. I would not say that the idea is bad, just this application is half baked at best. The color coding system just leads to confusion. It would have been better to have an off and on radio button and then apply button. Also, another idea would be to take a baseline image of the system, so that you can go back to your own personal default at a click. Then this app would be ready, ease of users personel restore and off and on selection. 6381
