The program does do what it says, is very stable and is very easy to use. However I find that its real time scanner uses too many resources for its size. Additionally I wonder about its lack of updates and its "work in process" (as stated by its programmers)? That being said, I have found other programs that do a better job. 10944

For XP: I have so much protection already I had never seen this even catch anything for 8 months. But finally it caught 2 (BHOs) Browser Helper Objects as soon as they tried to get installed. Contrary to the guy who doesn't like it, I've never seen it use more that 1% cpu, and it is currently up for 24 hours and it is using only 7,000k. For W98: My machine only has 64k, I uninstalled it, and used their other product spywareblaster. Both are set it and forget it applications. They aren't updating it lately, but since SpywareGuard is guarding certain places on all computers, it lets you decide if things it finds are good or bad, when it detects anything trying to setting itself up. It's not difficult to decide what to do. If you didn't ask for something, it must be spyware. I recommend it if you have more than 64k. 6927

Catches browser changes always before spy sweeper shield does using one fifth the memory of Webroot, but how about an update 1/22/04 is a little long.I just wanna see the purple line flash across once 6591

This program is the only one that can at least stop CWS-about:blank and CWS_xplugin from functioning properly. It catches actions that other stoppers can not. It only consumes CPU percentage when something is wrong in the system and it is fighting with that something. No program catches everything but I need this one and spybot 1.3 and cwshredder. 4916

This program consumes way too much memory and processing time on XP Pro..if you also have a firewall, anti-virus software, and any other ongoing programs running. 4539
