I tried one of the other freeware antispam programs but could not get it to work.
I tried this one and it worked first time, it even has an "unsure" file, for mail it isn't sure about.
The program is rating itself as 98% accurate at the time of writing this review.
I can highly recommend this anti spam program. 20936

SpamBrave is very accurate, easy to use and it integrates nicely with OE. SpamBrave has a nice statistics feature that shows how many received e-mails were classified as spam. Before installing, prepare a folder with good e-mails and one with bad e-mails. SpamBrave will quickly learn to separate the good and bad mails. I am perfectly happy and recommend SpamBrave to anyone who wishes not to see spam mails anymore in his inbox. A tool should learn itself and that is what SpamBrave does for you. With its OE-integrated buttons, you can help to improve the filtering. Little disadvantage: the Lite version puts a footer in your outgoing e-mail: "'m protected by SpamBrave"...

SpamBrave Lite is excellent once you figure out how to name the email folders during the installation process. That part is confusing at first. I had to install SpamBrave Lite three times before I figured out how to name the email folders. In retrospect, it makes perfect sense, but not when I first encountered it. The wizard needs to explain the folder naming process more clearly. But don't let this minor drawback stop you from choosing SpamBrave Lite as your anti-spam utility. The fact that it is integrated into OE is a major plus, and more than makes up for this minor difficulty encountered during installation. 14135

SpamBrave Lite for Outlook Express installs straightforwardly and works quietly in the background when you next run Outlook Express.
You may notice that a lot less e-mail arrives. If you get the odd spam message, you now have the tools to deal with it.
Not only do you have a toolbar with Spam and Not Spam buttons included, but also you have much of the same functionality on the context or right button menu. This will be popular with non-mouse users and those with text-to-speech software, who can get the menu with Shift-F10.
Another great feature is that the program can create a Spam folder, and also an Unsure folder which is your chance to go in and tell the program whats spam and not spam. Then you can delete anything you dont want.
The program is specific to POP3 accounts in Outlook Express and doesnt pretend to be anything it isnt. But if you have O.E., and dont want to waste your life on junk mail, SpamBrave Lite would be hard to beat.

You can add email addresses to a white list or black list which is very convenient compared to OE. You can mark things as spam. Program adds a toolbar feature in OE so you can just click on the feature you want to use. 13541
