This eliminates the need for a separate program for weather, and no need to download an extra popup blocker. No popups have gotten through since I downloaded it. You can turn features on or off, as you desire. I use Google for searching, and this is perfect. I'm glad I found it, and I've told my friends. 7319

I really like Guard Bar because it enables you to have real-time protection against spyware. It is also nice because you can see what sites are traking your internet use. Also, Guard Bar has a great popup killer and many other great features. I recommend that everyone at least give it a try. 5452

This one seems to block popups just as well as Google's toolbar, allows you to do searches on Google and also Yahoo, MSN, AOL and Lycos, offers additional protection against adware, spyware and homepage theft. The little weather monitor is a nifty feature too. So far I am very impressed. Hey, it's freeware too and they claim no adware or spyware bundled in. (seems it would have to remove itself if that were the case, right?) :)
I'm still trying to figure out what's in it for the writers, but maybe they are just a generous bunch? 5370

Slowed down my browser to a crawl,Popup stopper missed plenty of ads and weather button displayed wrong temp. and conditions for my area. Other features worked ok but who needs them when the three I mentioned have alot to be desired. 5365
