I was looking for a secure way to remove files from a mapped drive. Freeraser does it easily, just drag any file onto the icon and all trace of the file vanishes. 22184

There are other, and better, erasers available that integrate with your explorer menu so you can erase files directly from Windows explorer. 20646

The main attraction of Freeraser is that it is no install and can be carried around on a pen drive. One feature that I missed was a progress bar showing how long was left, which would be useful for longer files. Other than that, a useful program to have. 20639
