EncryptOnClick does what it says on the tin, but is unusual and risky since it deletes files automatically after encrypting them. This means that if any crashes etc occur during the encryption process, the file could be gone forever. It is better to leave the file intact and to delete or shred it manually after encryption. Apart from that, the program is good freeware. 20366

This is a perfect program for file encryption made simple. If you find all the other encryption pro's a little hard to use. Try this one you'll be impressed, works well and is easy to use. 19073

I have been using EOC to encrypt about few hundred files but with much regret, I had lost 2 of my video files due to error in description. Both files are above 700M. Meanwhile, there is no problem for small files but for the larger ones (few hundred M), I recommend you to duplicate your files before any encryption/description, if you are using EOC. 17069

We re not aware of any problems with large files (the EOC files are Zip64 files using 256-bit AES encryption, and have no size limit). Please feel free to contact us if there are any problems.

Rather large footprint and memory usage but cannot get any simpler to encrypt and decrypt. Functions on individual files or total contents of any folders. Simple password usage for encrypting and decrypting. You don't even have to access the program to decrypt, just double click on the file. Seems to work on any format. Shows a lock icon on an encrypted file which is a nice reminder. 11300
