Encrypted Magic Folders enables you to hide selected folders, and in addition automatically encrypt the content for additional protection. The folder content is decrypted transparently as you use the files, all you need to do is enter your password once to unhide all folders. The additional encryption of the files has the benefit that your files are completely secure, even if your computer is stolen and Encrypted Magic Folders removed. An additional option allows you to scramble the file names as well, so even if someone could find the (encrypted files), the file names would not give any clue as to their nature or content. To quickly hide all your files, you can simply click on a tray icon. As a bonus, the program also includes Password Magic, a secure, but basic password manager.
