CryptoTE is a text editor with integrated strong cryptography. It allows you to store any type of text based information in securely encrypted, password protected container files without requiring you to adhere to a specific data structure or to fill any input forms. You can basically use it in the same way you would use Notepad or any other text editor. The program can be used to store passwords, bank information, credit card data, software activation codes or any other type of sensitive data. You can create multiple sub-containers that can be used to divide data into categories or to import external files. Other features include support for multiple users, a built-in password generator, automatic backup and a keyword search feature. CryptoTE uses 256-bit Serpent encryption to protect your data.
